CAPPRI (Training for Primary Teachers) is a training project carried out for the MED (Ministry of Education of Angola), which promotes a significant improvement in the quality of training of Primary Teachers, with a pedagogical methodology called “Teach to Teach”.
This is a project that will act on national level, in different stages of implementation, with the main objective of preparing teachers in an appealing and innovative way. The training program wants to focus on 3 areas: Portuguese Language, Mathematics and Sport/Art and Culture.
As part of the Project we have so far trained 27 project delivery staff over a period of three months, focusing on the following modules: Communication, Emotional Intelligence and Change and Persuasion.
The training will happen on a national level, encompassing all 18 provinces by 2022.
Around 4000 teachers have been trained in the Luanda province to date.
